It's raining really hard here, I'm at my husbands workplace, scanning in pics from our wedding last year, almost done. Just about 4 more passes if the computer holds up, those 82mb files really do a number on the ram.

Can't wait for anime over at Ace and Jess's place.

Ooh, i have to learn how to sew quick! Next weekend is an SCA event, and I need a passable attempt at clothes. hrm...

Yeah, I hear that SCA is a bit sniffy about such things. I had a net friend (who I eventually met in actuality) who had been in SCA and then got disgusted with the way they are always ringing the authenticity bell and bailed. I recently got back in touch with him, and it seems he's back in SCA, so perhaps the affront has blown over.

I just got back from a *very* hurried trip to Madison...Eric kept emailing me about coming up this weekend, so I did in a big hurry. I just wanted to see how it would go, and it wasn't bad, so I guess I might be going back more often.

Sam's birthday is the 4th of May, and we have the 3rd off (the kids are going to a competition in Rockford, so no school)...so if you are able, I was thinking I might head up there that Thursday night and maybe we can get some Karaoke in...just a thought 8^).
