jobless senseless
Mar. 22nd, 2002 02:09 pmI went to the chiropractor again this morning, but my head was all full of job stuff, house stuff, husband stuff. I forgot to put on the parking brake in the Jeep.
Imagine my surprise when I was checking in with the office lady, turned around and saw my green jeep slowly starting to roll backwards into the parking lot.
I raced back out the double doors and grabbed the drivers side mirror attachment thing, trying to slow/stop the vehicle. It wasn't going too fast, but it missed the curb behind my original parking spot, and could have gone a bit of a ways!
sheesh.
Must apply for 5 jobs today, that's my goal.
No one's called me from Tuesday's job faire, except some guy who wants me to plunk down $250 to own my own biz...
No word on the job I applied for on Wednesday either...

I got props from a guy heading into the Navy enrollement center next door too. hee.
First time I've ever had a vehicle roll away from me, but then, I only learned how to drive stick last year about this time.
It wasn't much of a slope either, but my Jeep was ready to go! heh
