I officially gave up trying to complete my novel by the 30th on monday. It was hard to do, but there was no way I could sanely get 6000 words in every day this week. Not worth the stress, not worth the stomach churning.
That being said, I'm about halfway done, still, and do plan on finishing, hopefully before the new year. Shouldn't be so bad to finish at all. I'm still very proud of myself for getting as far as I have, i'm around 41 pages, single spaced in my novel. It's more than I've ever written for any one project. It's amazing how far you can get, if you just write a little bit each day.
We're slowly getting our apartment into order too, so we can have adult company (too ashamed to have our parents visit, with our office in dissarray) we have done just about every bit of laundry we had, and then some, plus I vacuumed and dusted the bedroom last night, felt really nice.
