Lots and Lots of work

We did it! We launched the first part of ABS GLOBAL
I worked lots of extra last week 2-3 hours every night, and the friday we worked from 8am to 2am saturday, and I was up again till 3 last night. (We launched at 2am today-Sunday)
Things blur together for the last few days, but we have the site up, and working, and most all the pages validate for xhtml (which is a huge thing! Web standards rock!)
As a reward, Kim and Maciek took me out to Sophia's for an awesome omlette, then we hit the art store, and watched a bit of anime. It was nice to get out and feel human, and not feel the huge pressure of all the things left to do on the site hanging over me.
I've been working all afternoon since I got back. Finishing up the last bits of validation, checking that the links go to the right place, fixing some of the content bits. There's still things left to do, but the list gets smaller and smaller each hour.
I feel very good.
tired. but good.

Date: 2004-08-02 08:46 am (UTC)We have a webteam of me, so in order to get the beef stuff out the door by our sire summary, we launched half the website first.
We hope to complete the site by the end of the year (or sooner)
The brown pages validate, the black pages do not.
Working on improving the whole thing. It'll be nice when it's done.

Date: 2004-08-02 08:53 am (UTC)For the service/science/success.. how about different colors for each word.. they tend to run together making it harder to read for me.
And maybe mentioning when it's a non-html-like web page. (ppt, adobe, etc)
But.. wow.. the excel stuff is very cool, too.
