i would just like to state, for the record, that i've read more harry potter fanfic in the last two days than i have all year.

A good deal of Herm/Snape mostly. http://www.lordandladysnape.net/index.php
Though a bit of draco/harry slipped in too. I like things that are well written mostly. circe_tigana had a few rec's, and some of the people in her comments had some recs... and before you know it, I've read three fics before bed, and am dreaming I'm at hogwarts.

My problem with most fanfic, is the high noise to signal ratio. I would love love rec's for GOOD stuff, but don't much like having to hunt through things that aren't finished, and/or are really really bad.

I wish I could help you there, but all my recs pages are slash only. I feel the same way though, especially about Harry Potter stuff. If someone else hasn't reccomended it to me, I generally don't bother.
