How are you doing?

I know I tend to rant and rave here. Which, given that lj= drama, and journals = drama, and me, well. you get the idea.

But, I was wondering how you are doing today. Are you holding up? Are you chasing your dreams? Is your job getting you down? Do you have something shiny and new to celebrate?

Please, tell me how you're doing today. I want to hear about someone other than me right now.

Life is going ok right now for me. Graduation is coming up, but I still haven't found that elusive job. I'm probably going to spend the weekend cleaning and packing up my apartment for my move to Madison, which I hope will occur mid-May (sooner would be nice, but I doubt my landlord will be happy with that).

It's great you're coming to Madison, it's so nice to be close to everyone and everything. I'm sure you'll be able to land a job. You've got talent and smarts up the wazoo. (ok, that does sound funny) I mean, you're very marketable. It'll be great! Got a place picked out? or are you going to stay at Chez Roqs?

Keep it up! You are a powerful and intelligent MCAT warrior woman. You will kick every paragraphs ass, you will bend every question to your will, you will conquer whole armies of standardized testing with your lasso of cynicism, and it will be grand, gloriously grand.

I'm doing quite well today, even though I've got a very full plate of stuff to do. But, I have to go downtown after I get home, and the weather is conducive to me riding my bike down to do it.

I'm feeling good about my writing (though, I've been missing you at Publish or Perish), bloodlossgirl has been saying all sorts of nice things about me today, and I've got the coolest bleaknimue in the world.

I'm feeling pretty good today. The weather is lovely here and the sun is shining, which always puts me in a happy mood. Plus I get to play a gig tonight, and I can't wait to see all my friends and fans there and get up on stage and share some new material. Knowing my plans for fall and having said goodbye to my distinction project is also a huge load off my mind. More than anything I'm feeling hopeful, both for my trip this summer and for the future of my music career after having a much needed chat with the director of the record label I'm on which went much better than I thought it would. In short, life is good for me. Thanks for asking!
