But, be careful with me. I am not a cynic, I float on a happy bubble most of the time. The more I love you, the more I enjoy being near you, the more weight I give your opinion. You can hurt me with a careless word. I may not stop doing the thing you scorn, but it's possible I won't enjoy it as much, when I realize I can't share it with you. It's possible, even, that you
Even worse, it's possible your careless words will frighten my muse, and I'll have to hunt her out, years later. I don't mind if you are cynic, or not, I don't want you to lie, but please don't throw out words and statements about me, and what I'm like, or what I like.
