Letter from the past

My mom just called to tell me that a letter I wrote 10 years ago had finally made it's way to my parents house.
It was supposed to arrive now. I think. It was a letter to myself, actually, a thing one of my favorite English teachers did each year, I think for her students.
Write a letter to yourself, she said, and I'll mail it in the future, it'd be best to forget about it.
I never did though, and was a bit disappointed it had never come. My mom said it's pretty amazing they got it, she had us address it to our parents because they would likely be easier to find, but they haven't lived at that old place in town for about 7 years. And it was sent from an army bass.
So, I'm curious to see what else I asked my future self about, I know one part asks if I've finished my novel about Irissia the Space Pirate. Man, junior freaking high? Near the time I would log on and meet my future husband on a local bbs.
The only thing we didn't really think about, 10 years ago, was that the letter, being addressed to my parents, was read by my parents.
Good thing I don't remember writing anything explicit in there. whew! heh.
Mom says she'll bring my note to dinner on Friday. Friday is my 2nd wedding anniversary, and is also my Mom and Dad's anniversary, as well as my Grandma, and Grandpa's wedding anniversary. (And was my Great Grandmother's Anniversary as well, though she passed away a bit ago now)
