Anime Iowa 2010 Recap
Aug. 9th, 2010 11:31 pmIt's been quite a while since I've done a convention recap, but we had such a nice time I want to make certain to remember it. This was my 7th year selling comics in the Artist Alley, starting in 2003! I missed a year for some reason, and it's my 8th or 9th AI I've attended (because I went a couple times in college)

Several things about Anime Iowa; the con funk meter is pretty low, people are honestly happy to look at Tribute Waters, and almost Everyone is in costume all weekend. Crazy!
Seriously, thanks go to everyone who was willing to come by, take a look at my art and either read the comic in front of me, buy it or take a card (or two) to share. Strangely enough, many many people read my introduction on the front flap, and asked me about National Novel Writing Month. I will always maintain that anyone can write a novel, and anyone can learn to draw, and love being able to tell people that.
Pix!
