Making Comics!
May. 4th, 2007 10:39 pmLast weekend about half of Studio Anti Thesis climbed into the +4 Van of Intimidation, and drove over to see Scott McCloud over at Neptune Comics in Waukesha Wi.
Look how excited the Smuga's are to see Scott McCloud!
Aaaand... the Smuga's... about 5 min later...
After a little nap we all arrived at Neptune Comics!
It was great to hear Scott Talk. I took notes in my molekine, including some little sketches of Scott while he was talking. He makes lots of hand gestures to illustrate his points, so it was fun to try to capture that. I'll try to scan a little of that in sometime.
We gave him some of our comics in one of our press packets, he said that he really liked the emotion of the body positions in Of 2 Minds. I hope he and his lovely family enjoyed our comics, we really enjoyed hearing him talk and meeting with them, however briefly.
