How did we collect so much...stuff

The packing is continuing apace. I guess. It's hard to pack up everything with the mindset that almost all of it is going away to storage for 4-6... months. It's not like I even really need most of it most of time... but books... goodness. We have only about 4.5 bookshelf units... I think solidly 4 of them are filled with books that are mine. I've packed away almost all the ones in the guest room, guess i'll tackle the one is in the art room and tech books next week.

I packed a box of books I wanted to take with us, so I don't lose them, or can reread my favorites, so it feels a little bit like home. I fear it may be too many, but how could I pack my friends away for an indeterminate amount of time?

Things:
We bagged 15 trashbags of clothes to go to goodwill.
I sorted 6 bags of books and took them to half-price books, traded them in on some art books (artist's way, toonart) and Tanya Huff's Wizard of the grove.
Most of the kitchen is already packed.
The basement and garage are packed and most of the stuff that was there is already in the storage unit.
We've thrown out about 4 dorm quality couches, yay.
I've been enjoying the gig I'm at, good people, lots of work, laid back... two other web girls!

oh yeah... and a good deal of the move will be finished this weekend, while I'm away at Anime Detour.

Hopefully, no one touches my art room and 'helpfully' throws away my things without me going through them!
