Happy Halloween
Oct. 31st, 2005 08:34 amWe had a successful and fantastic weekend. Lots of video games, costumes, friends and fun. The party was Saturday and everyone seemed to get into wearing costumes, taking silly pictures and laughing a whole lot. We ended the night by playing Halo 1 till about 4:30 (before you factor in the time change.) Wow, I love that game.

We'll be going through and adding more titles and descriptions later.
On Sunday, Studio Anti Thesis gave another presentation at Waldenbooks at the East Towne Mall. We spoke on making zines. Our handout was actually a tiny little zine, with our speech points on each page and little illustrations. It was very well received.Holy Cow, were we surprised to see about 40some people there to hear us speak! The manager, Susan, had us judge the costume contest. There were some awesome costumes and it was really hard to choose! We gave the person who dressed up as Die from Dir En Grey grand prize, a ninja girl from Inuyasha was 1st runner up, and a Seraphim from Megatokyo was our 2nd runner up choice. We gave each of the winners one of our buttons, and Waldenbooks gave them gift certificates. Wow! It was hard to choose only 3. We gave all the contestants a free sticker. So, more pictures from waldenbooks starting here http://flickr.com/photos/metahari/57867085/in/set-449213/ in my Waldenbook Talks photoset.
Afterwards, most of us(ray, pete,me,steve, allie) went back to my place, and we played Mario Kart Double Dash for a while, on Ray's projecter projecting up on the wall of the basement. So much fun!
