*Meeps at her new icon.* Got it at the convention, Robert DeJesus drew me for it, its sooo cute, made me squee with glee all day. I actually wore those kitty ears almost the whole con. We have pictures to prove it. And, it's cool, I threw on that red scarf last minute to go with my Fluffalope Factory T-Shirt.

Sorry it's blurry, took a pic of it with my camera, because I'm not near a scanner. I'll likely update it later. It makes me happy though.

Had a nice birthday dinner last night, Hubby took me to Red Lobster, where we feasted on lobster and cheesy biscuits, and root beer, and talked about how over harvesting our oceans for McFish sandwiches and the like is having a major impact on fishing communities, and eventually our fish prices here in the states. Guess we're taking too much of Mother's Bounty, and the fish just can't keep up.

Then we headed over to EBgames and picked up Soul Caliber 2 for Xbox, weeee. It's fun, looks nice, plays nice, has tons to unlock. Doesn't have that sense of awe that came with SC1 for Dreamcast. But that was such a graphical leap from Soul Edge, that every moment with the game produced a sense of wonder. I miss that. But, taken on it's on SC2 seems like it's going to be the party game of choice, after Halo, of course.

We're planning Haloween 2 already, Halloween lands on a Friday this year, yah! So, start working on costumes. [livejournal.com profile] gamerchick you're more than welcome to come visit for it! Also, Kotor has convinced my husband to pick up the Star Wars role-playing system. hmmm
