free books!

I've been reaquainted with our local library, mmm free books...

I've been so jazzed about it that I woke up dreaming I was telling someone about the library being Free Free Free.

Also, spent last night taking some digital pics of art from last semester and some of this figure drawings... Only Because some of the pieces are so big, when I auto-levels in Photoshop, the edges are dark because of the flash.

Does anyone know a good way to get rid of the dark edges?

That's what the high pass filter is for ;-)

filter/other/high pass. After you've done it you'll probably want to adjust the levels back again to get more contrast from the lines and make the paper white again.

Then you have to post the results on your journal for everyone to see!

the cool things about libraries are interlibrary loans, is your library hooked up with a buncha others? Usually you can get more than just what you see there. We're lucky to have an all digital catalog, so I can log in even from home!
