I'm excited to see this too...but I'm even more excited about League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen! Hmm, perhaps I will talk Boyfriend into taking me to one or the other (or both!) this weekend...he has a job now, he can afford a movie ticket!
I'm almost always pleased when Depp stars. I'm often dissapointed with keanu stars. I believe that all roles that keanu can do, Depp can do better. (Wouldn't have Depp been wonderful in Matrix, or Dracula? sigh) Exceptions are, of course, Bill and Ted's and Point Break.
And we get both Depp and Bloom! As we've recently been saying due to a Cha22 bard in my girly game... 'Roll vs pants'!
You have a point...Johnny Depp is extremely easy on the eyes. Even with weird gold pirate teeth. I think Orlando Bloom is only attractive when he's being Legolas, and even then I would much rather ogle Aragorn. But hey, LXG has Sean Connery in it. It can't be all bad.
