My dad has been running marathons for pretty close to 15 years now...he always does at least one a year, usually more, ran Boston when I was in elementary school, etc. He's always said that the biggest part of running a marathon is not necessarily physical conditioning (though that is important), but the psychological aspect of *believing* you can run that many miles all at once and complete the race. So if you believe you can do it, you can do it...and I believe you can. (c: Good luck!
